Alright so I was reading THR and it was mentioned that New Hampshire CCW's are not bad ones as Non-Residents. I looked into it, they have good reciprocity (although not as good as Florida or Utah) and are super cheap.

According to the New Hampshire Site:

How long does it take to process applications submitted to the Permits and Licensing Unit?
-Applications are processed within 14 days of receipt. If the application is denied, the applicant will receive written notification of the reason for such denial. If you have not received a response after three weeks, please feel free to call us at (603) 271-3575.

I mailed my application and check about 4wks ago have not gotten anything back and the check has not been cashed yet. I called the above number and only got a voice mail machine. I left a message and my number, no response as of yet. I called back this morning and same thing.

Is anybody else having trouble getting NH permits?

Remember that New Hampshire is a small state, very cold during the winter, and not as densely populated as many others. It's about the right time for everyone to take their annual trip to Florida, so perhaps nobody is there right now.

Or it could be that whoever is running New Hampshire is a bit busy. I don't recall how long my permit took but it wasn't very long.

.

I got mine several years ago- it took 5 business days, door to door. You might want to give them a call again. When I had questions before applying, they were extremely courteous and helpful.

No Problem here. I just moved and left them a message and they called me back lickity split, sent me a letter confirming adress change, and offered me a new ccw with the new address for $3...

They called me this morning. Apparently they cashed the check Feb 10th (Which I apparently missed on my online banking) and they said another 2-3weeks from today.

Wow, you got boned. I waited ten days for my non-resident and three days for my resident permit. Methinks you fell through the cracks.

My check to NH was cashed on the 2/10 and have not seen anything yet. Spoke to a representative and she said 2-3 weeks from that date as well.
