I’ve got a chance to pick up a CZ 527 Varmint Kevlar in 223. Rifle is in very good shape. Asking price was $700, but I’ve talked him down to $625 which I think is still a little high to be honest. Anybody in this group own one? How do you feel about it? I had a CZ 527 Varmint a decade or so ago. I honestly think I sold it to a member here and the only two reasons I let it go were the 1/12 twist barrel and the short stock. I think that rifle was built for a ten year old.
My dilemma is that I am not convinced this rifle will outshoot my heavy barreled ARs and I enjoy shooting those gas guns quite a bit. Still, if I could get it around $575 I’d probably have to snatch it up and see how I liked it.
