Just inquiring if anyone has badger grips on their gp100s and sp101's. They seem real nice . However their grip and seems really steep. Also if anyone had the full length grips on the sp101 how well do they conceal? Pics appreciated! Thanks.

Edit 2/25: my grips for the sp101 came yesterday and I like them alot (pictured a few posts down). So now really looking for info on the full grip gp100 grips

Run Badgers on every one of my revolvers. Smith 65 & 60, Colt DS, SP 101, Ruger PSS, and my old GP100. None better. You won't be disappointed

Way too much palm swell for me on my SP101, and too much money for that kind of mistake. Someone with big mitts might like it.

The shine on that Ruger SP101 is awesome! Did you use Mother's Mag Polish on it?

I have a set of Badgers for my SP101. The full size version did change the grip angle to my dislike. I now use a set of Pachmayr laminates.

Watch your emblems ! I have a smooth set of the pachmyrs and my dang emblem fell out the first time I carried it.

I put these on yesterday (came in the mail). They're from a seller in Thailand reddkultt. They fit my hand perfect and have a great angle, just can't use my speed loader. I emailed him asking what he used for finish so I can recess it. Than again I don't carry a speed loader so maybe I won't.

I tried the badgers on my gp100. Just didn't like them so now I'm back using the factory Hogue grips. The more I use them the more I like them. I just added hogues to a redhawk. Big improvement.
Unfortunately there aren't many options available for the GP that I am aware of. If pachmyer is making stocks for the GP like 460 has on his SP its worth looking into.

I have the pachnyrs diamond pros for the gp100. Very similar shape to the renegades that 460( and i) has. However the top left hand side is thin flexible rubber and allows the hammer pin to slide back and forth if hit. It won't fall out,but annoys me. Other than that they are definitely the most comfortable gp100 grip I've tried yet. I just wish they were wood. I emailed pachmyr asking if they will release a wood version in the future and haven't heard back yet. I have a feeling I'm going to end up with wood hogue grips. That angle on the badgers just looks so steep.

I must be the only guy that thinks the factory grips are fine.

The factory gp100 grips are not bad, just a little to fat on the bottom for my liking. I have short fat fingers and wide palms. However the sp101 factory grips a great. But I don't like to ccw with them because the grip is just rubbery enough to not allow my shirt to slide freely over it causing it to print or traping my shirt between the grip and my side so it becomes REALLY obvious I'm carrying. The wood grips make it disappear

I like the factory grips on my SP101 for both carry and shooting, but I've got the grooved black plastic inserts and they are, shall we say, utilitarian. Okay, they're the ugliest thing on the gun. Ruger doesn't seem to offer replacement wood panels. Where's a good place to get wood inserts? Nothing that will break the bank, necessarily.

I used a buffer with 8" wheels on the wholegun. I just cleaned up the barrel and frame, then used a sanding block to knock some of the shine back down to a finish similar to the factory finish. I fully polished the cylinder. The gun is kinda a two tone look.

I fully polished the cylinder.

Nice work and it looks great! That mirror-like polishing job you did on the cylinder makes it seem as if it were nickel plated!

Not well.

Very nice!

Very nice, also!

I have medium-sized hands with long fingers, and I could not abide by the small factory grips on the SP101 with my pinky hanging out in the breeze. Bought a Hogue Mono-Grip for $22 and, although utilitarian, they fit me very well. Lots of clearance for shell ejection and speedloader use.

Used for HD/SD, but not CC: I have a 1911 .45 for that.

That's what I put on my SP and I love the way it feels now. Also added the Wolff spring kit and it feels and shoots great, much better than the S&W 642 I used to own.
