Just curious if anyone carries a concealed double-stack pistol? While I prefer the double-stacks for home defense, a desk gun, car gun, etc.; I can't seem to be able to effectively carry a concealed one without a bulge. As a matter of fact, I've discovered that I can carry a larger single stack more effectively than I can carry a smaller double stack.

I used to carry a Beretta 92FS, but I am 6' 8." Now I carry 1911s of various lengths and they are easier.

I often carry my Kel-Tec P-11 in the summer time and my Glock 26 in winter... both double stack guns.

and as soon as I find a holster I like a USP .45

Of course I have a frame large enough to handle it. :)

KelTec P11, but that doesn't really count because it's still so small, and often hides in a coat pocket anyway.

Sig P228, Glock 19, and CZ75B at one time or another, OWB mostly.

I've found blowing wind to be The Ultimate Evil afflicting the effectiveness of a cover garmet, which means that while all my double stacks (and my 1911s) can conceal very well when I'm standing around the house looking in the mirror, only the P11 is immune to the elements in regards to concealment.

Most everday I carry a custom ParaOrd P14 Stainless Limited. The king of the doublestacks. I am able to hide it quite nicely.... though I wish I didnt have to.

Browning HP, and occasionally a S&W 6906.

Both on my strong side, and best concealed for me with a t-shirt and a looser overshirt.

Yep...a CZ-75BD or PCR, depending on mood and weather. Next to the Browning HP, the CZ-75 series is possibly the easiest full-sized double-stack service pistol to carry due to its slimness.

Been carrying a G23 for a while now, but thinking of switching to a full size single stack for the reason you stated.

I carry a P.14 Limited also, with a Hogue grip too. Can we get the grip any fatter?:D

I have big hands and really prefer the grip of a big fat double stack.

I will scale down as clothing mandates, but the P.14 is always my first choice.

Custom P14, although I'm working up a STI with a Commander slide, chambered in 9 by 23 Supercomp.

From 15 .45ACP to 18 9 by 23. Technology is a grand thing.

All day every day.

Keltec P-40, Heritage Stealth 40, or sometimes Keltec P-11

Both IWB in Alessi Talon Plus' under untucked "T" or light weight vest.

I carry a CZ-75 PCR normally and a BHP many times also. If I need something slimmer, I go to an HK P7M8.
