Yeah, I can't say that I find that Hi Power all that attractive (though I like Hi Powers in general). Though the grips are worse than the engravings. Also in a gun that's clearly meant to be looked at rather than shot, the adjustable sights on that gun really breakup the silhouette.
IMHO, that gun wouldn't look bad if the grips were switched over to some nicely figured checkered wooden grips (which wood is a matter of taste) and the scrollwork eliminated - or at least significantly reduced. Call me too modern but those types of patterns are something I'd expect to see on a woman's handbag, not a firearm .
