Anyone else use Labels on their Gun stuff?

My Wife got me a label maker for Christmas a few years ago. I label my MTM boxes, ammo cans, cleaning supplies and a couple of Plano boxes that I keep small parts in. Also any die boxes that don't have the original or correct label on them. And some other stuff.

The label maker is much neater than my sloppy writing!

I have a label maker as well!!! It's very useful for my bullet info. I think it's a great idea!!!!!!

I used to have a Dymo labeler years ago but found the adhesive to be too weak for long term use. The amount of time I had to spend punching one letter at a time was ludicrous. I switched to using a Sharpie permanent marker either directly on the plastic ammo boxes or on self-stick paper labels. Even if they only last a couple of years, they take less time to make with either the Sharpie or a ball point pen and they stick better.

If I labeled stuff, it would help me know what it was I lost, when I found it ......
I labeled my AR parts. One box for upper parts, another for lower parts.
I was cleaning up the other day and found three boxes labeled Lower AR Parts. I don’t remember labeling three boxes for lower parts.
I labeled the cardboard tubes that my extra AR barrels are in. It makes it easier to find what I’m looking for and I don’t have to open so many tubes.

Blue masking tape and Sharpies for me. I do think having a label maker could come in handy. I have a P-Touch label maker at work that I like. It will work with tape widths from 1/4” to 3/4”.

I have thought about getting one of those but those pesky gun stores and internet sites keep offering up much cooler stuff for my money than a machine that tells everyone that I have OCD type tendencies. :D

I got a P-Touch when they first came out years ago. These days I go through about two tape cartridges a week
EEEK! Those cartridges are a bit spendy. Mine last much longer.

I use a Dymo Labeler on almost any thing that doesn't come with a label in my reloading room. .
I like these because of the retro look, but I find that they don't stick well to some plastics even after I clean them first. Also, I'm running out of tape; can you still get Dymo refills?

I only label those things that are not obvious.
Ditto.

I use the DYMO LetraTag 100H Plus Handheld Label Maker. No problem finding the tape refills. I use the plastic tape refill. Sticks much better than the paper tapes.

I scrounged a lot of old 9mm factory boxes and I wrap them in cheap duct tape and write RMR 9mm 124gr MW, the charge, powder and primer on the box. This does several things. I know whats in the box instead of fooling with checking head stamps and I know its my reloaded ammo. I shoot a lot with buddies and do not share reloads. I also am forced to shoot factory some of the time so it helps not having to dig through a bag or can when I can just see its duct taped, its a reload.

I don't label brushes or anything like that because I use an old tackle box and they get jumbled around. I do label ammo cans with 22lr or 9mm or shotgun ammo.

I label brass in ziplock bags of times fired, needs sized, needs trimmed, etc.
