Anyone going to the Hilliard Ohio Pro show??

If so, I'm going to be there today (maybe tomorrow if it's a decent show). If you're there, say hi if you see me.

I'll be wearing a dark green jacket, orange ballcap. (can't be two of us with worse color-matching skills there! No wait, there probably will be!). In any case, I'll be the one looking at old military guns scratching my head wondering if I can get it by the wife.

When you get done at the show Saturday come out and shoot with some of the TFL guys at Briar Rabbit Sunday. Maybe try out a new "toy." I originally planned on going to the shoot Sunday and am already signed up for events mailing list. But, a family commitment won't allow me to come to the shoot. It's a shame, I really wanted to go.

Well, I went and spent all day yesterday but I didn't run anto any High Road guys. I met up with a few Parallax C&R friends and a couple OGCA guys.

A couple good deals, but mostly insane-priced AK's and the like. I did pickup a bunch of the South African .303 and some Port. .308 battle packs. I also found K-31 stripper clips cheap, which are rare.

I wanted to go to Briar Rabbit but it I have to go to work today so I couldn't. Besides that, I'm a big panzy about shooting in the cold. I absolutely stink at it. I get shivering like a coin-operated hotel bed and I can't hit a thing. I grew up in Arizona for pete's sake.

Oh well, I'll make the first spring shoot!

Spring in Ohio? You mean winter part II? The wife's been keeping me busy on home projects over the holidays, so I didn't get to do nuthin fun..... Waaaahhh! Oh well...a new year starts in another few days.

Growing up in Arizona has nothing to do with it. I grew up in Chicago and am a panzy about the cold. When I was in the Army and would complain everyone would say "You should be used to the cold, you grew up in Chicago." Fact is when it was cold out I stayed inside. Columbus doesn't even have legitimate winters and it's too cold for me!
