Well seeing how this is a squirrel gun and we run hill country for hours on end I will be trying a DIY Kydex cheek riser for now and see how that works out. I hear a LGS carries some savages with laminate stocks (gotta be Boyds) and I will see how they handle. I do like the idea of balancing the rifle a little more. I want to add a riser to my Savage Axis 223rem with plastic stock too so this will be a nice weekend project. I will post up some pictures and review once done.
Anyone have a Boyds Rimfire hunter?
