I have a Model 70 chambered in 220 Swift that my father bought new in 1958. Unfortunately, sometime in its life the breech bolt was lost. Everything else is still there but the rifle is in need of completely being resorted. Does anyone have experience with that involved a resto?
I’ve seen a few of these rifles and it seems like the market value is around $1200 for a good shooter. Due to it’s sentimental value that rifle is priceless but I’m on a budget and need to keep the money invested around that level.
