Component shortage has hit hard, can't seem to find any of my favorite powders. Managed to find a can of WSF at Cabelas the other day. Has the same burn rate as ACC #5 but reloading data seems limited to 9mm .45acp and 10mm. Anyone use this stuff and if so what are your experiences with it.

Worked great for me in 9MM. Should work well for full power .45 ACP, but did not try it. No reason it shouldn't work well in .40.

Yes. It is very much like Unique in that it will work in almost any of the standard pistol cartridges, but it meters better.

Im glad to know it meters better and works something like Unique.
I bought a pound of it not to long ago and have not had the chance to use it. Should be fun to see how it goes with 9mm and .45 ACP

Been using it for years in 9mm, and 45acp. Also in my shotgun. Like already said, burn rate is very similar to Unique, but being a ball powder it actually meters great. Not like the corn flakes of unique.

I use it sometimes as a replacement for Herco. The chronograph can't tell the difference. (obligatory YMMV, since there's so little published load data) Herco fills large cases better, WSF meters better.

Its my favorite powder for 9mm and 40 so far.. mid-range loads shoot softer & more accurately than factory ammo..

It's one of my favorites for .45 ACP, and has also done well for me in 9mm. Much like others have said, I consider it the "ball powder" version of Unique for its versatility.

I've used a couple of pounds of it in .40. Meters very well and burns clean. I would say its a good standby to AA#5. Grab a pound or 2 you won't be disappointed.
