Anyone in the Lafayette Area With a C&R?

I'm looking for someone in the Lafayette/West Lafayette Indiana area with a C&R licence that might be willing and able to do a cheap transfer on a couple or three turkish mausers. I found some on J&G sales for $60 with a purchace of 2 or more, but feel that paying a $30 transfer fee on a $60 rifle is a bit rediculous. I'd appreciate any help anyone could give me.

those with C&Rs feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe what you're asking is illegal. It's my understanding that the C&R license is designed for collecting, not dealing. And ATF would surely consider what you're asking for "dealing."

Definately a no no. That's dealing and strictly prohibited. Quickest way to loose your licence. Take that 30 bucks you would spend on a transfer fee and apply for your own C&R. And I'm waiting to see what these Turks look like, the last batch were very nasty.

Just download the forms, fill 'em out and send them off with $30 and you'll get a C&R in about a month. Well worth it, as I saved $150 on my most recent Brownell's order alone.

I don't think that it should be deleted, eventually others (as I did before the C&R) will have the same idea.
