Kel-Tec may not be selling into CA, but lots of resellers and distributors are. My FFL, the one ordering the gun for sven, lunde and myself checked with the CADOJ and it was OK.

The wait is killing me. I'm trying to figure out my next .223 purchase. I have narrowed it down to the Mini or a SU16. I had a chance to shoot a FAB10 yesturday. It was nice and accurate but as my GF puts it .....blahhhhhhhh!

I finally got a chance to handle one of the SU16s yesturday! First impression is that there is alot of plastic. It didnt bother me too much. The rear sight was plastic and non adjustable. The intergrated Bipod looked funny but didnt seem to rattle. The only metal parts on the gun were the barrel and bolt. Not bad if this baby is around 2-3MOA and reliable I'll have to get one and top it with a red dot.

My dealer received my SU-16 on the 19th, so theoretically, if my dealer is available tomorrow, the 29th, I'll pick mine up them. The EOTech holographic sight that I ordered for it comes a week later.

Capability to carry 20rds in the stock is really slick, as is the folding, uh, 'lower' I guess. How quick is it to bring back into action?

Any word on how they shoot? Anybody?

The pickup date for my SU-16 was today (the 29th), but I need to arrange a day this week when I can drive to SSF to pick it up, along with my CZ 75 P-01 pistol whose ten-day waiting period ended on the 25th.
