Hey all, I'm new here.

A few years back, I bought a bag of .429" 240gr bullets. Idk who makes them, and it's always had me curious. I've shot a lot of them using Hornady XTP data, and never had a problem. I've never seen any other bullets quite like these. It's a regular looking copper full metal jacketed bullet from the side, but the tops are folded in, and there's a tiny dot of exposed lead in the center.

I'll work on getting pictures. I have one on my phone, but the site is asking for a url address.

Try upload file.

Are they the Hornady HAP Bullet?

I do not recall a 240grn XTP FP 44cal. The 357cal 158 and 125, and the 50 cal 500grn, but I don’t recall a 44cal 240 XTP-FP.

It does look like the xtp-fp bullets, but these aren't hollow points tho. I think I got them from wholesale hunter or midsouth. It was a few years back. I was thinking they were potentially Hornady bullets, but I've never seen another one like these exactly.
