Anyone know who sells wood grips for Rossi Revolvers?

I'm looking at the Rossi 462 .357 2"....but I can't seem to find a source for wooden grips. Anyone know if they exist?

Let us know if you find any. Years ago I had a nice Rossi Model 88 revolver and couldn't find any decent aftermarket grips for it. Finally I added aTyler T-Grip adapter to it just to get the grip feeling a little better in my hand.

After some extensive research, I found some, or more over what fit's on the Rossi 461/462 for a good price.

If you send me a dollar, I'll tell you were to get wood grips and for a good deal too, and if you send me $2, I'll tell you another useful secret on how to improve your gun, if you promise not to make it public knowledge.

With some dremel work, I manged to fit a pair of safariland finger groove grips for a j-frame smith on my 462. They were able to be made to fit, and now they fit perfectly and look almost factory, but you have to be good with a dremel.

One important caveat: There is a strange 1/4 inch hole below the cylinder release on the 462 that is covered by the factory grips. The speed loader notch on my safariland grips exposes about half of this hole.

My Taurus 85 has that same hole. The old Rossis don't. Odd. Pachmayr Grippers have been made for the small frame Rossis for at LEAST 20 years. I have had 'em on my m88 and still have a 511 .22 with a set.
