Rossi model 462 revolver

I have an opportunity to buy a Rossi 462 revolver for $250.00 that is in nice shape, but I recently found out about the recall. I checked the serial number with the recall data base and found that this one is not recalled. I'm still wondering if I should buy it, but it is a really nice revolver from what I can tell. Another reason I'm not sure is that Rossi doesn"t sell revolvers anymore. What's your thoughts.

I had a 461, it’s blued brother. Never had an issue with it.

They are no longer made. I’d buy it if the funds can be spared just so you won’t regret not buying it later. Looks like a good stash pistol at minimum.

I like how concealable it is. 6 rounds of 357 on top of it.

I have the 461 and 462. I’d buy another.
At that price I don’t think you can go wrong.

both mine are in the recall, but I prefer the hammer mounted firing pin, so I’m not sending them in, and they currently work

Not sure about the newer Braztech Rossi's but I have an older Model 851 Interarms Amadeo Rossi that I would never part with at any price. It was made back in the Bangor Punta days when Rossi and Smith were under the same umbrella. They traded parts and tech back then, lots of interchangeable parts.
