For the most part, Model 1 is its own brand. They use E.R. Shaw barrels and you can opt for certain brand-name options, such as handguards and removeable sights, but what you'll otherwise be getting is a Model 1 kit. To my knowledge, they are not just reselling some other manufacturer's kits.

There are several primary manufacturers that actually produce the parts for these guns. Places like model 1 sales and M&A Parts and other all buy from these manufacturers. If you call and ask them where the parts come from you will get an answer like, "from a current government contracted manufacturer".
