Anyone load .38 Special with MBC Smallball? (or other 125 grain lead pills?)

I found a box of .358" sized Smallball... Lee has data for 125 grain lead. Any recommendations? Caveats? Will lighter bullets likely hit lower or higher than heavy bullets?

I load about 5,000 of them per year for SASS matches for the three of us, but I cast my own from the same Magma molds that MBC uses. It's my favorite bullet for the .38 Special. They shoot to point of aim in all our pistols and rifles, but then are our firearms for SASS are sighted in for those loads. I find them very accurate, and with my Blackhawks, I can shoot tight groups with them at 25 yards from a rest, and decent groups offhand.

Hope this helps.

Fred
