Anyone looking for a new 586-7 ?

The place I shop at has two brand new S & W 586 -7. I was looking for one of these about a yr ago. He told me I was nuts no such gun. Well I printed the thing out off of a action page. I guess it was a special run for some dist. Never got one. I went in thier today and he had not one but two and they are brand new. You bet I gave him the i told you so speech.

I live in CT. I was in thier today so I know as of 230 this afternoon thier were two. It was the six inch ones. I will give you the link. I love this store and I know they are very top notch. I only buy from them. Let them know that a CT resident told them because they just put up a web site. THey didnt think it would wbe worth it.

No problem . Its to bad I already have two 586's now. I wanted one about a year ago and it seemed every place I went into to ask they looked at me like I was nuts. I love the grips on them I wish Smith sold them.

I got one

Hi, I got one. It takes a little getting used to. It doesn't shoot the same as my model 66. I like the look of the wood grips but may end up switching them for a rubber set so I can grip higher up on the frame. I shot a plate match with it and got smoked but it wasn't the gun's fault.

Oh man I love those gips. I looked for them on the S & W web site but they do not make them. Someone said Excaliber ? I looked but they do not have a web site ? I googled it. If you want to sell yours let me know.

Jerry I'm going to keep the grips even if I get a second set for use. They do look very sweet.
