Anyone only have revolvers?

Only revolvers owned for handguns.

My rifles are bolt and lever actions.

And, my shotguns are double barrels and pumps.

Not one single semi auto in all firearms. :)

Just "old school" I guess?

I have a few pistols that aren't revolvers, an LCP which I carry, but if I want to kill something with a pistol, I use a S&W revolver in either .22 Magnum or .357 Magnum. For target shooting, I will use one in .22LR or .38 Special. I have decided that the LCP is easier to conceal for me, which I carry anytime I leave home.

Soooo, you're approaching middle age and your sixth decade on this earth simultaneously?

I must say, I admire your outlook!

I own more semis than revolvers but sometimes, ONLY a revolver will do.
My ancestors led long and interesting lives. No reason to stop now!

I'm all revolvers...except for the one 1911, and well, the 8 or 9 ComBloc 9x18 guns, and there's the little Ruger LCP that I have.

Okay, with the exception of those autos, I'm all revolver. Like I don't even know how many I have, and I have a couple on layaway.

:D:D:D

I have 1 J frame and 2 K frame S&W revolvers, and one Ruger Single Six, vs. 1 Ruger MKII and 1 CZ75. Currently, when I think about adding to the stable, I think about a compact carry 9mm in the form of a S&W 3913 or Kahr K9 or CW9, but usually talk myself out of it by reminding myself that the J frame .38 is already paid for and completely reliable, so why do I need to spend money there.

The other pistol I am currently lusting after is the one I have wanted for more than 20 years now. I first saw it on the cover of GUNS Magazine when I was 19, and thought it was the most beautiful thing ever - the Beretta 92.

So, no, I am not an "all revolver" guy. My CZ holds as many rounds, fully loaded, as all three of my centerfire revolvers do, at the same time. There are advantages there that cannot be denied. But when I want something with more horsepower, I can grab my .357 and be confident that the hard-cast lead loads in it will take care of any lion or bear in my neck of the woods. Variety, and varied capabilities, come with different designs and purposes.

I've had and carried semiauto pistols over the years. My wife doesn't mind shooting, but semiautos are "Guns that shoot back!" All I have and carry these days are revolvers, even at work.

Duty gun - 4 inch S&W Model 686, Pachmayr RB grip.
Back up - S&W Model 37, nickle-plated, magnas with a BK grip adapter.
Off duty - 3 inch S&W Model 13, blued, magnas with a Tyler T-Grip adapter.
Back up - Same S&W Model 37.
Off duty, not looking for trouble - Same S&W Model 37.
Woods walking - 4 inch tapered barrel S&W model 10, blued, original serial-numbered magnas, Tyler T-Grip adapter.
Spare gun - Taurus 85SS2UL, in my older daughter's possession until I can come up with a prisoner exchange!
Other handguns - 1895 Nagant, .45 Ruger Bisley Vaquero, Remington 58 repros, Cimarron .38 "Lighting."

Wife's gun - S&W Model 681, Crimson Trace Grips. (Yes, she carries it!)

I shoot the same qualification course as my co-workers who carry Glock 22s. They don't understand why they can't beat my scores.

I may buy another 1911A1 for old times' sake since I carried one in the Army.

Nope, I love both revolvers and semis.

That being said, for me the only semi that can even try to out-sexy a nice full-lug double action revolver is a 1911.

Will agree with Stevel, a Glock does what you want it to. Goes bang every time, fits well in the hand, spare parts a-plenty if you need them, and dead simple to strip and replace parts. But there's just no fire there. No passion.

Yup, no passion in plastic. I'm considering a new 5 shot for carry. While the LCR is probably the better practical choice, the 2.25" SP101 spurless is what I am perserverating on.

Primarily revolvers / ss. Do have an RST4 and a High Standard Target. Don't need to keep .22 rf. Also a couple of 1911's. One is a gold cup. The rest are revolvers or TC. One frame, 7 Barrels. Don't like to chase brass.

I have always preferred revolvers. My first gun was a Ruger Bearcat .22, and I have a number of other revolvers, all S&W or Ruger. But I also have some semiautos that I like too. To me a good 1911 has a solid comfortable feel, just like a S&W 19 or a 629.

I think you can love both without either of them feeling slighted! :)

I have both revolvers and semi autos in my collection, with revolvers out numbering semis about 2:1. If I ever have to pare down my collection the semis will be the first to go.

After nearly 20 years with a permit, for SD I only carry revolvers -- stainless S&Ws: 642, 65 and 686.

I have carried most every semiauto under the sun at some point in the past: Glock, Sig, S&W, Browning, Springfield, Colt, Les Baer, Kahr, Seecamp, Walther, CZ.

The one semiauto I own now is a Colt 1911 WWI reproduction (which stays in the safe), though today I hope to pick up a Ruger Mk III Target for plinking.

I know the pluses and minuses of each platform. For me it came down to consistency of trigger pull and manual or arms. My house gun is a 686; my EDC is two 642s; when I want a belly gun with more power I go with the 65.

Hmmm, the OP asks - in a revolver sub-forum - if anyone has just revolvers! I could say yes - until 1/13, when I was at the range and was offered a new/un-opened S&W M&P .45 Compact by the operator - ordered in error - at a deal of a price (Well less than a 642!). Gasp, I left the purity of the round gun... but, it doesn't count - it's a dedicated 'house gun'. I did find some 100 round boxes of Fed 230gr ball ammo in brass for <$29/ea at WallyWorld over the last year for it. My homebrew such rounds are a bit milder than normal - but my revolvers love them!

Someone mentioned round count - and revolvers vs evil-bottom-feeders. I bought a couple of spare mags for that S&W - they were more expensive than the 200 moonclips I bought - and I now have >240 loaded moonclips ready... can you keep up with that with your rude-case-tosser? Here is my 625JM with 105 loaded moonclips:

They fit in five hardboard separated layers of twenty-one in a metal .223 case. I have two such cases loaded as well as some Tupperware-like containers full for >1,440 rounds before I have to reload moonclips. It's my 'Zombie' protection! I have revolvers going from .22- .45, with all but a single NEF .32 and a few 1895 Nagants being S&W, albeit the number is lower than I'd like. Sigh! I certainly meet the 'old' and 'round in the middle' criteria, too!
