I placed an order on June 13; got an email receipt back, and it said to allow 3 to 6 weeks for delivery because their suppliers are kind of slow. OK, I don't have a problem with that. (I knew F&M was slow when I placed the order.)

A couple of days later, I figured out another couple of items that I forgot to order. I sent them an email to please add to my order. A week later, I got a "undeliverable" message from their mail server.

Yesterday I finally got around to calling them, and the phone is always busy -- like it's off-hook. Same thing today.

My credit card has not been billed yet. I'm not overly concerned, just confused.

I ordered 2 sets of lee dies on 6/25. Got the same notice as you. I called Monday to see when it would ship, they said it already had and gave me tracking number. Was delivered today. Hope yours comes soon.

I ordered in April and got a conformation of the order in my e-mail the same day. I still have not received it. I called last Thursday and was told that the suppliers were slow on their shipments. My credit card was charged on Monday for it. I have always received great service from them in the past. Do not know why so poorly this time.

With the increasing costs of ammo all of a sudden lots of people are getting into or back into reloading and they all want stuff. FM is one of the bigger Lee suppliers and their prices are good. My last order was a few months ago and it was there in a week. I would say that I have seen common stuff from Lee is backed up about a month or so, it's because of the demand.

I have never had trouble with them, but with the holidays, it is possible they are out of town until after the Independance Day holiday. Small shops like that often keep hours that are not like Midway.
Give them a chance until after the holidays, keep trying, send an email, I bet you'll be taken care of.

I ordered a reloading die and some ammunition. I got the 'Suppliers are slow', expect 4-6 weeks for delivery also. I figure they do not stock a great deal and must be ordering some of it.

I'm glad the read that everyone seems to be getting their orders. As noted their price was good on the items and their shipping was good, with no 'Special shipping Charge'.

I just got my order yesterday. Most of it anyway; one item was missing (but not charged for, and no explanation.) It wasn't anything exotic, just a .356 Lyman bullet sizing die. I called them this afternoon to see if it was backordered or overlooked or what. They said it was discontinued by the manufacturer.

So I ordered one (and a few other items) from Midway, and it has shipped already and will probably be here on Tuesday. It did cost 18¢ more from Midway...

All the items that got here were from one manufacturer (Lee.) I think maybe F&M has *no* inventory, and that's a great business model when your suppliers are fast, but not so good when things slow down, or when you have to wait for enough sales to accumulate to place a reasonable order from the distributor.

I recently ordered a Lee shellplate carrier for my Pro1K from them- and they said they were out of stock in that particular caliber but they would build me one from inventory- sure enough, a week later, I got a carrier that had been originally a .223 carrier that had been re-worked to be a .45 acp carrier. The box had had the .223 checked box crossed out and the .45 box checked. That means they swapped the shellplate & the primer parts with what they had in stock, so I guess they *DO* have some inventory.

I am having a similar problem. I placed an order on July 17,2008 and received a confirmation. I started calling yesterday to inquire about the order but only got busy signals, the same today.

Does anyone have the scoop on what's going on?
