...

is that a Madeuce?

Amazing to see one of the oldest guns in service
pimped up to spaceage style.

The koreans have a sentry-robot with a minimi i believe.

And a coax-mount M240 for the roof of my car. That'll keep the soccer moms from cutting me off in morning traffic...

I would think that would definitely keep the solicitor's off the property. How would you like to be walking up the drive when that beast starts turning your way?

Very interesting in that the remote mode rate of fire is very obviously at least twice the "back-up mode" manual control rate.

wonder if it has an iphone app
run it from Wal-Mart, Olive Garden, the DMV....

I think we came across something similar back in the late 80's when the Lt got us a little off course around a Pershing or SAM site in West Germany. When it pops up, it will scare the crap out of you.

they need one small enough that i can mount it on my motorcycle. tailgate me, will you? i think not.

Now if you want something a little bigger................

I like it, alot of people killed in combat are in the gunners turret ... ~ gatornavy

We've got a remote weapon system in the inventory.

Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station

It accepts a variety of crew-served weapons, including the M2 .50-cal Machine Gun, the Mk19 40-mm Automatic Grenade Machine Gun, the M240B 7.62 mm Machine Gun and M249 Squad Automatic Weapon

I've used the CROWS. Pretty nifty, although it has some major limitations such as dead zones and a narrow field of view. While it is useful in certain situations, nothing beats a gunner using his Mark 1 Mod 0 eyeballs.

"...wonder if it has an iphone app..." My thoughts exactly. Besides it sure beats a 1/6 scale Civil War cannon in the front yard...
