just seeing if anyone has replaced there front blade yet or if anyone knows what will fit (if anything)

i was thinking of taking mine to a smith and seeing if the SP101 or GP100 sites will fit if so trijicon makes SP101 nite sites

Why would you want to on a little carry gun like this unless you are planning into entering 25 yd bullseye competition with it. Don't destroy it's hideability. JMHO :)

Well some of my snubbies are good to go out to 100 yards. Your mileage may very.

But the real point here is better visibility, especially in low light. Anyway, GP-100 sights wouldn't work. I'm not sure about the SP-101. If I had an LCR I would be thinking hard about the Crimson Trace option.

If your havin trouble with the blade try a thin dab of a high vissability nail polish. That will usually do the trick.

The sights are plastic. It seems it you could get you hands on a night sight you could easily drill a hole for the tube and epoxy it in place. CDNN often has night sights for other weapons that are pretty cheap.

Other than the night sight I think the sights on the LCR are actually pretty good. They are much higher profile than most pocket guns yet they aren't going to snag on your pocket.

sorry jon but i own it and am lookin at the METAL sights right now
the only plastic is the lower half

the reason i want to change sights is because i am really itching to have a tritium front on this thing
most of my duties are at night and tritium would be a huge help

anyone know of a company that can tap and affix tritium vials on the factory sights?

truthfully a nite site option is the only complaint i have about the gun if they had a set (or at least a front) for the LCR i think it would be perfect

i didnt do the CT grip because i was lucky to find the LCR at all
i still am thinking about it at a later time but the standard hogue grips are very comfortable to shoot and lasers do need batteries besides adding a nite site to it is just one more thing on the gun anyway lol

XS Sights

XS sights is supposed to release a version of their Big Dot tritium front sight for the LCR in the next 6 weeks or so. I emailed them to find out when they would be out because that seems the easiest way to go. Push out the pin and drop a new sight in. I'll wait for this to come out rather than modify my gun. :)

Yea i heard about the XS big dot but im impatient i never understood why aftermarket gun parts makers dont follow up quickly with new firearms

think of it like car parts a few days after the launch of the SRT Charger there were mopar parts available to make it faster

i honestly think that if the aftermarket supported more firearms then more firearms would be popular and successful

Mastiff did they give an honest date as to when we should be able to get the site? otherwise i think plan b of getting a smith will be what i do because im not waiting a few months to a year for them to finaly hit the market

They didn't give me a firm date. The email said that they were having a hard time finding +P ammo to test with. I told them to join the club lol!!:fire:

thanks RC ill deffinatly look into that site

Mastiff LOL yea the line for ammo is longer than for bread around here

My mistake, I only handled one at the store and I thought I recalled they were plastic. If they are metal I'm sure there are places that will drill the front sight out for a tritium vile. It wouldn't be any different than any other revolver in that case.
