ok so i got my LCR and i love it so whats left to do... oh yea accessorize it to my likeing

as this is my carry gun nothing too extreme heres what im thinking

Don Hume pocket holster

Speed loaders

and a night site for the front

i have found the holster online in alot of places for decent prices so no worries there

does anyone know which HKS Speed Loader if any will work with the LCR

and lastly ive heard of people saying they put night sites on the LCR but can find a model specific set from anyone reputable (i.e. Trijicon etc...)
anyone know how to get NSs on this model?

i know its a new model so support isnt there quite yet but figure i would ask anyway

The revolver hit the shelves a few weeks ago or less.

Accessories?

That's one reason I'm in no hurry when a totally new design comes out, no matter how cool it is.

HKS doesn't list any speedloaders yet. I'd contact them, though. J-frame models may work.

Best of luck. I'm guessing that these will see accessories from major makers really soon, at least if Ruger produces them fast enough. They do seem to be selling.:)

well thats just it i can get a holster for it no problem and the speed loaders i can be patient (or do without all together)

but i have seen them in magazines with night sights already so i was hoping maybe someone like trijicon or XS had worked with ruger already and had some for sale

oh well guess ill wait a few more weeks/months

I'd be very surprised if the J-frame HKS didn't fit the bill perfectly. Should be easy enough to check out; they're everywhere.

I saw actual LCRs in magazine about 6 months before they were released. In fact every gun related product that I know of is in magazines long before the public can own them.

Have patience. The aftermarket will catch up eventually.

The HKS -36 speedloaders will work much better with the CTC laser grips than the larger Hogue grips and with ammo with "pointy" or tapered bullets than they will with SWC or WC bullets. The LCR cylinder is just a tad smaller in diameter than the J Frame cylinder and the speed loader can sometimes bind up.

I use the Bianchi Speed Strips. Not as fast to reload as speed loaders would be, but they beat the heck out carrying loose rounds in a pocket.

Avoid the J frame Safariland speedloaders for the LCR. The rounds bind up and won't go far enough into the cylinder to trip the release.
