Anyone seen a NAA sidewinder yet?

I just wish they had made the breaktop a standard model. But the Sidewinder looks like fun.

Hmm, I wonder if they ever thought of a swivel action like some of the old derringers.

Close friend bought one last week..........now I've owned and carried a mini for over twenty years, also owned a .32 Guardian and received stellar CS from NAA..........I have always been impressed with the quality of their products until I saw that brand new gun Saturday!

The fit is so poor that one must juggle the extractor rod up and down with great difficulty in order to get the cylinder to swing open........the same condition requires the same action to close it..........my reaction to him was to either take it back to the dealer or call NAA immediately............piece of junk as it stands and given what the cost is\was I would not even consider one less an extremely close inspection.

Certainly QC took a trip in a handbasket with that one.

Hopefully that will be a rare example. I have not seen a ton of post about them, but I have search a lot of forums and have not heard any other owners complained about the sidewinder quality.

I consider the standard mini revolver design to be a lot more robust than either the Sidewinder or Ranger. The minis work well within their limitations. I see the swingout cylinder to be more of a collector's novelty than any kind of tactical improvement for carry.
