I know the new Sig P210 Target has been around a while now and I have read threads on it but I am wondering how it has held up for anyone who has used it a lot over the last few years. I am just trying to find out about mechanical reliability and maybe hear from anyone with trouble or experience with Sig warranty for this pistol.

Thanks for any input.

I have not, but I will let you know when I do. So far the pistol has been great, feeds fine with cast bullets and accurate. I may have 500 through mine, if that.

Check with local ranges that have P210 in rental stock. Rental guns usually get high usage.

Feels great in the hand, superb two stage trigger, expensive (SIG, natch...) magazines, working the slide is like greased glass.
Mine has run 100%, but the round count is in the 2-300 range, exclusively my handloads.
There was a guy on the SIG board grousing about some recoil spring issue, early on, but it didn't seem to be a common gripe.
Mine is the Standard, which is cleaner and simpler than the Target, which has somewhat exaggerated grips and high sights. I zeroed mine at 6 at 50' by substituting a slightly shorter factory front sight.
I might be mistaken, but the Carry and Target are now the only choices.
Wander over to SIGTalk; there is a P210 section.

I have one,but I only have 300 through it.No problems at all.I just got in from shooting it and several other pistols.I shot 7 total, the 210,a decent 1911,a Wilson Combat P320,a Performance Center M&P 40,a Springfield SA-35 and an M17 Sig.Guess which one is the top gun?Yup,the P210 outshot all of them.I don't think 5,000 rounds would hurt one if it's well maintained.

I have a P210 standard. It has somewhere in the neighborhood of 4000 rounds. Sig recommends replacing the recoil spring assembly every 2500 rounds. I have had no trouble with mine.

Good to hear, eisenhower. I have shot the P210 and it was really nice and fits well into my hand. I just want to make sure it is as well made as the other Sig I had but stupidly sold.

I’ve got the P210A, which is the non-target American. It is my favorite handgun. Working the slide feels like butter. Everything is tightly fit. It is absurdly accurate and comfortable. It feels like an extension of my hand/arm. So far, I’ve probably got 300 rounds through it and have had zero malfunctions. I am confident that it will continue to run into the thousands of rounds as it is of steel construction and wear so far is very minimal.

The feel reminds me of my Freedom Arms revolvers. You can tell you are holding a big chunk of high quality machinery.
