Since Alaska doesn't allow the use of scopes on muzzleloaders, I'm thinking about removing my Nikon red-dot from my T/C Omega and putting it on my Marlin 1895GS. The factory rear site on my Marlin broke within 10 minutes of having it home, and I wanted to put better sites on it anyway.
Has anyone used the above scope mount? Is it well built, etc?
Are there better scope mount options that would allow a rear ghost ring to cowitness through the red dot and still be sturdy? Without gunsmithing?
Thanks.
