I had it on as background noise and normally enjoy it, not too far right and not too far left, and very reasonable.

So I was studying my Employment Law and removing primres from the 4k+ spent 9mm brass i've got around (actually very relaxing, I get very focused in studying and it is a bit of workout with a Lee Precision carry model press). And Lou has one of the guys from Chicago on. He was incrediblly inarticulate, hey I know he didn't have a teleprompter like some, but you could tell when Lou was trying to talk to him, this guy couldn't keep a straight line of thought. Plus I loved his logic i.e. "we are not trying to take away all gun, not trying to register all your rifles, it's just the handguns, this holocaust we have here on our streets, our young people have access to some of the most dangerous weapons to ever exist."

Okay, so in a city where gun ownership is near impossible, it's my fault here in Florida where my handguns are not registered, that the children of unwed(some drug addicted to boot) mothers are shooting people in the streets of Chicago. It's my hanguns sitting in my gun safe, unregistered, that are telling children in your city's schools to not read, "don't snitch", knock up young girls, and oh it's cool to kill people over crack dealing territory. :banghead:

Lou is a big supporter of the 2nd Amendment, that and the keep the jobs in America stance he has keeps me liking him, plus he doesn't back down and holds the iron to anyone coming on the show that is speaking out of their backside. Almost every night now for two weeks he's covered protecting the 2nd Amendment.

He didn't leave the guy saying he wanted to talk about poverty and such and how it was the cause behind the violence in Chicago. Lou my man you get it, guns aren't the disease, their use in violence is just a symptom.

His guest was the person that wrote and introduced HR45,the most current gun control measure. His name is Rush, and he was a criminal at one time in his past. Now that he's a respectable member of Congress,he wants to require us all to have a license to own guns...Quite a hypocrite,actually...

kirkcdl: "His name is Rush, and he was a criminal at one time in his past."

Not just any criminal. Robert "Bobby" Rush was a full fledged racketeer and member of the Black Panther Party. I've met him. He ain't rehabilitated.

How can you tell them apart? :)

Bobby Rush is as left wing and anti-gun as they get.

And he's also known as a wack job even by his own party, which is why HR45 has no sponsors.

There's plenty to worry about without adding this one.

:(

I Like Dobbs, dont like the other fella.

I hope that HR 45 dies in committe and never sees light of day. That was one of the items that caused us to complete our purchases early.

I leave it here, dont want to see a good thread go bad on sidetracking.

I got to watch that and like'd Dobb's reaction. He seemed displeased that people would attack the 2nd amendment like that. He was also getting upset that the guest could not complete logical sentences.

Glenn Beck and Lou are my two favorites. They are keeping me from going insane with this crazy gov policies.

State Level is the real Villian!

This forum: No one talking about HR45! As quoted above.

I think that the State Level is more of a prob than the National Level.

How many of us live in States that are currently Drafting Laws that will either

limit purchase of Firearms, Ammo or Tax these items? Limit or resind CCW?

We just went through a GOOD RUN of several states Passing Favorable Legislation! Is the pendulem about to swing?

The need for NEW Taxes is a REAL Threat at this time to unvail new revenue sources at the State Level!

Just my 2 cents worth! Ofcourse in this economy only worth about $.00006

Is it just me, or did Bobby Rush sound extremely similar to the mentally challenged cop on the Family Guy?

...uuuummmm.....O.K. .....ummmmmmm well, ummmmmmmmmmm......

dersequim - Well, here in TN things are going pretty well, from what I've seen. There was an article I saw recently online about pro-firearm laws being "fast tracked" though the legislature. With luck, Tennesseeans will be able to carry in places where alcohol is served for on-premises consumption, provided that one is not drinking while carrying and that it is before 11pm. I don't like the 11pm rule, but I'll take it for now if it means I can both carry and eat in more restaurants than just Waffle House. The few anti-gun bills currently in the legislature will go nowhere.

I saw it. When Lou said he'd like to have the guy back on to talk about what he felt would affect gun violence the most, help in poverty and unemployment and better education, I shouted out loud, "Lou, you da man!"

Guns and Dinner!

I'm a Snowbird and winter in AZ, from WA. Have WA CCW, allowed to carry in Az. They have the no gun where Alcohol is served. Just finished the AZ CCW course, their Permit is reconized in more states. They reconize ANY other States CCW. WA doesn't reconize theirs under reciprosity, GO Figure?
I know what you mean about eating out.

Our Instuctor was telling us that the law used to be no carry or posession within 1000' feet of School property. The School bus barn was across the street from his housing developement. There were 5 LEO's in his neighborhood. Their Departments had to petition the State Legislature to change the law to ON school property.
