AR-10 Lower

Does anyone know how much a stripped AR-10 lower costs? Correct me if im wrong, but that's the part that gets registered to a person, right?

Armalite AR10 stripped lower is $227.40 and the DPMS stripped lower is $400.
I got those from their website as I am in the market for one.

That doesn't sound right, I was thinking they were very close in price. $400 sounds like a complete lower.

Yes, the lower is the part that is registered. Everything else is not regulated and does not have a serial number, which means it can be shipped right to your door.

I happen to be looking to do a build myself so I called DPMS. They confirmed that the stripped lowers are in the $400 range and the built lowers are a little over $600.

CMMG makes lowers that are compatable with DPMS uppers for $400, and $450 for one that accepts G3 magazines.

If you're looking for an Armalite lower, I bought mine from DD's Ranch for $170. They also carry the Armalite LPKs for $100.

DSG also carries the Armalite lowers.
