AR-15 carry handle rails?

I'm putting together a utility carbine (truck gun, plinker, home defender) based on the PSA Magpul Original Equipment complete lower and the Olympic Arms .40 S&W Upper. This presents a problem: the .40 S&W upper is M16A2 style (it has a non-removable carry handle) not flattop as I would prefer, so I'll need to mount my 1.5-4x optic on the carry handle. The only rails I have found for the carry handle are either: Made by Tapco or for airsoft guns :banghead: Some respectable company must have made these! Where can I find quality carry handle rails that will keep zero with a lightweight scope mounted? Or is there some other mounting solution I do not know about?

A more expensive solution would be to get a flat top upper and drill it for the Oly Ejector. You can get a blem upper from BCM for $80, and if you don't trust yourself to do the drilling, adco will do it for $50.

Weaver makes them as well. B-square, Pro-mag, I'm sure there are other brands out there. I would NOT go with UTG/Leapers, etc.
