Hey Folks! Got out to the range both days this weekend for the first time this year and had a blast (literally!). Saturday I was sighting in my varmint AR upper and was I rusty!
So today (Sunday) I went back out with my CZ-452 and shot up about 300 rnds over iron sights. By the last 200 rnds I was shooting the string hanging the tin cans off the target fence in half at 50 yards with regularity then blasting them to pieces.
I feel that shooting a good .22LR, especially one with iron sights, is one of the best ways to improve your accuracy. This got me thinking that it would be cool to get a dedicated .22LR upper for my AR so that I can use the same trigger I hunt with but shoot hundreds of plinking rounds with it for next to no cost.
What's out there that's both affordable and reliable? I don't want a slip-in converter (Ciener?), but a dedicated upper that has a good set of AR-type adjustable peep sights. Any ideas?
