AR-15 magazine conversion for Rem 700?

I have had no luck in my searches for a conversion kit or vendor for adding an AR-15 magazine well to a Remington 700 .223 (I'm thinking SPS Tactical or XCR Compact Tactical). Has anyone seen this done or have any information about the possibilities?

I know I could machine this out of billet aluminum, but I was hoping someone else had already done the leg-work!

I'd be interested in well. I've read about people doing this with .308 Rem 700s using M1A mags, but never thought about this.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to tell you it's a dumb idea given that it's a bolt-action. Hopefully my mentioning it will keep them from doing so.
