How do I zero a red dot scope on my AR-15? It's used for plinking only and I have a Tasco ProPoint mounted in front of the carry handle on an A2 version AR upper. My goal is to zero similar to the army at 25 meters (I only have a 25 yard range, according to Maryland AR-15 shooters website I need to shoot zero about 3/8 of an inch low at 25 yards) . I understand the basics of zeroing a regular scope but don't know if it's the same for a Red Dot. It seems to me that it would but I want to make sure. I'm not sure what other information is needed to help me with this. So if I left somethng out please let me know.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
