I don't hear too much about Armalite. Do they intentionally stay off the radar? Lol the only thing I'm familiar with is that Provisional IRA guerrillas bought Armalite AR-18's.

You've just dated yourself severely...

Anyway, today's Armalite is related only in name to the original, and is simply a new name for Eagle Arms, Inc. of Illinois, headed up by Mark Westrom. It was considered one of the top AR builders in the 1990's, back when the choices were limited to Colt, Armalite, Bushmaster, Olympic, and Hesse, and quality was viewed in basically that order. It's obviously no longer considered top tier, but it's still very good, and offers a lot of options geared toward DCM style competition, including several fixed A2 sight models. I would say that Armalite is close to top tier in most ways but does a few cost-cutting measures that keep it from being truly top tier. It's certainly at least as good as brands like Bushmaster, DPMS and Rock River. My 2 cents.

How does Stag Arms fit into all of this? So if you all had the choice, would you pick DPMS or Rock River? I'm leaning with DPMS simply because of price.

Nice gat Mags, is that a stock flash hider or an aftermarket one? Lol I always have the forward grip as close as it can go to the magazine well.

That is a stock A2 flash hider. BTW the further out you put your grip on a rifle the easier you can maneuver it, and I use the grip more like a handstop not like a pistol grip.

I hav esince added some more ergo friendly upgrades such as the rifle length A5 adjustable stock system and an AFG, as well as a single piece goosneck scope mount.
