Bart,

The first picture are two misfits. The upper is an Armalite AR15M4(t), with a Colt Sp-1, first year production -1964- leaning against it (ser# 13xx).

The second two are a CMMG M4 with an EoTech and 3x magnifier. A Bushmaster "Varminteer" with a Burris scope (they were all out of black). I traded for these two to have something fun to shoot with my son when I visited him at ft Lewis last month. He liked my Sig 556 best... Hint.hint hint HINT! Xmas gift, little somuna...

Lastly, is my son, in Bacuba with his M4. 3/2 Strykers, 123rd. 2nd tour. Taken about this time last year. His 2nd tour. Father of 2, stationed at ft. Lewis at the moment. A 3rd deployment due for 8/09, a month before he musters out. Stop-loss, ya know?

And the hat he is wearing? International Truck and Engine. The folks that make the MRAPs... that would be who this old fart works for...

Hey Dave,
Thanks for starting the club. I was wondering when someone would start one. I recently got my addition--i'll post pics later. Right now it is a stock Smith&Wesson M&P 15 with the carry handle and a bushy red/green dot scope. I added a nice sling, extra mags and ammo to round out the starter set.

The real nice bonus was the price. I am not bragging, but I got it with the s&w rebate this spring and then my gun store had a tax holliday sale so I got a $1,300 rifle for a cool $1,000.

That just adds to my enjoyment.

Talk to ya'll later,

I have a Bushmaster A3 carbine w/fixed stock, Bushnell Trophy MP red-dot scope. Got a great deal on it used at a local place. Next mods are going to be an adjustable stock and perhaps a forward pistol grip.

Unfortunately THR won't let me post pics because it appears to have a policy that you can't post a pic if it was already posted in a different thread!

Keep em coming guys, beautiful machines!

Hmm..., I'll test that as I haven't encountered it before.

Test subject is a Bushy Superlight 16" on a CavAid polymer lower with a Jard single stage trigger and a Burris FastFire/LaRue mount, previously posted in Lee Lapin's CavAid Comes Through thread:

ETA - Well, I can see it. Perhaps the trouble had something to do with how the pic was linked.

My club membership

I am sure I have posted this before, but here is mine...

There are ways around that...

You can post the other attachment's link, like this one of yours from way back when...

http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=76587&d=1208316912

Or if it was sized smaller, you could just wrap it in IMG tags and display it right in the thread. As the one above is sized, it you only see the flash hider on the screen.

No uppers yet. Looking at LMT & Noveske.

The lowers are: 2 DPMS, CMMG, 2 DPMS

If you've posted your pic as an attachment, then THR will only let you upload it once.

What I prefer to do is host my pics at Photobucket. You can sign up for a free account. When you upload your pics, it will create links underneath the thumbnails in your photo album. You just copy those links into your post here and the viewer's browser will pull the pic from your Photobucket account. Easy as pie, and saves disk space on THR's server.
