AR-Mini14 Ammo Application Question

ok I have a older AR15 marked sporter,a transition preban without lug but with flashhider,barrel is markerd 1-7 for twist.

I recently got a Bushmaster M4 with is barrel twist 1-9

and then there is the Mini14 also.

I've been researching ammo.So,there is radway green around a local store which I believe is newer M855 SS109.The winchester USA brand,which I usually used before in the Mini and AR sporter has always worked well which I think is M193 type ammo.

Can I use M855 SS109 like radway green in a Mini or AR with 1-7 twist?Can I use M193 in my Bushmaster with a 1-9 twist and will accuracy be effected depending?

You can use M855 in both ARs (both have 5.56 chambers and 1-7 or 1-9 will handle 62gr just fine). I don't know enough about Mini barrels to comment. If the barrel twist is 1-9 or better, it will handle M855. You may also see occasional functional issues using 5.56 in a .223 SAAMI chamber (assuming the Mini has a .223 SAAMI chamber).

Currently runs 1-9, older 186 was 1-10. But with stock sites, putting SS109
or radway thru a mini 14 is like putting premium gas in a truck that could run
on 87.
