AR trigger suggestions.

Well when I contacted Larue about triggers they said 3-4 months. Bit the bullet and bought 2 straight two stage on Monday night thinking I won't be seeing them for awhile.
I should be receiving them on Saturday!!!

Also blew my trigger budget up with an ELF adjustable match trigger. Optics planet had them on sell and had a 20 dollar off code, got shipped to my door for just over 200.
So far just playing with it not installed yet, it feels awesome. No movement and breaks cleaner than my Geiessle SSA-E.

How do you like the straight Larue trigger? I have a curved bow MBT-2S on backorder and was thinking of checking whether the straight bow would arrive sooner.

I have both the MBT-2S straight and curved. I like them both. I honestly couldn’t tell you which one I prefer. They feel different; neither feels better or worse to me. When shooting, I tend to notice less of a difference as I think I’m more focused on sight alignment and squeezing the trigger so much that I don’t really notice the different trigger shape. Sorry I can’t tel you that one is better than the other, but I suppose it’s good that they’re both good!

I have 4-5 of the curved triggers, these will be my first Larue straight, don't have them in hand yet so I don't which I prefer. As I said earlier, I put my order in thinking Id be waiting 3-4 months, in 3 days got a tracking number.

The Elf trigger I bought is flat.

After reading svet-chevelle's post I ordered the straight trigger MBT. UPS says it will be delivered tomorrow. Since it's smart post I might actually get it tomorrow.

Edited to add: It was at the post office when I picked up the mail this afternoon.

I see the Larue 1-3-5 deal is back in July's Firearm News (back cover, full-page color). I called and it is NOT in effect after trying online. Miscommunication between FN and LaRue.

This is the site page, @Swampman. https://www.righttobear.com/searchresults.asp?Search=timney

But none of their prices match this advertisement I got in the E-mail. Even the 10-22 triggers are $250.:what:

It said it was a weekend long sale, not a daily deal, so I hope I didn’t flummox anyone.:(

I just installed the new CMC 3.5 straight trigger I got from Palmetto yesterday. Then I noticed they have a restock of the two pound straight shoe triggers…

So, I ordered another. :D
The two pound will be for the Bushmaster.

Dagnabbit! I came here to offer help to @sevt_chevelle spend his money!
Not for me to spend three hundred dollars on new triggers!:cuss:

Well, when the next one gets here, all but one of my ARs will have CMC triggers.

I guess I’ll live…:D

I have an RRA NM 2-stage in my iron-sighted rifle, and I love it. My "cqb" gun has a Timney in it, which I bought in a used complete lower. It works but there's something about it I don't care for. I've been thinking of a Geissele but seeing the prices on the LaRue units suggested in this thread has me considering those.

Anyone want to weigh in on single-stage vs. 2-stage for faster shooting?

I have dropped in several Timney Impact triggers at least I GUESS that is what they were called
back when I was doing it.
I can't believe the prices have jumped so much, I did about 5 for myself & could tap very tight groups
at 100 yards and out to 280 yards with AR 15 or AR 10 with reloads.
My son was running one of them up on the hill until it got dark, it has held up perfectly.
I wouldn't feel pressed by their ad as it being the ENTRY level.
