I have a 50th anniversy ARB10 and would like to keep it pretty much stock but I also want to use the bipod use on my CZ 527. I've checked a couple of sources and the only one I found was the Harris adapter the slips into the lower part of the forearm piece and you bolt through to hold the bipod. It would work but I'm pretty sure after shooting some rounds the block would start to slide back and forth and likely crack the forearm piece. I also looked at some of the forearm M16 and AR15 parts with the Picatinny rail but I really don't want to shell out the 300.00+/- forearm piece, (I can't find any that are brown anyway). I also looked at a sissor type bipod that fits squeezes onto the barrel. Would anyone have any suggestions on alternatives?

You could buy a cheaper aluminum forearm and put a sling swivel stud on it to hold the harris bipod. Ive never been a fan of the kind that clamp onto barrels. I tend to think that accuracy has been compromised with that kind.

just get a swivel stud with a nut and two washers, for a no mod' way of installing on an AR, I've done this to all my ARs with handgaurds and it works well,

pull off the bottom handguard, put one washer on the stud, and put it through one of the vent holes in the handguard, now place the other washer over the stud, and apply a bit of blue loctite and screw the nut down snug,

trim the stud off above the nut, replace the handguard and your set.
