Well my optics came in today so I completed my AR15-22 project.
TacSol Upper, RRA Lower, Magpul PolyBUIS, HurricanE 556 (EOTech Clone) and 4x Mag with flip to right mount

Question about that red dot clone. Does it hold zero pretty good, and just how murky is the glass in that magnifier?

My nephew has been after me to build him a AR.22 like yours. He wants a setup like my patrol rifle which looks remarkably like your weapon .

I haven't zero'd the sight yet so I cant give a report as yet. The Mag is a bit fuzzy and unfortunatly the magnifier does magnify the rectal. I understand the real Eotech rectal doesn't get magnified. If i were to do it over I would get a real EO mag. The mags are not the $$$ part so the difference is marginal the Clone sight is <1/3 the cost of the EO....
