I don't want to intrude in your business, but could you give a ballpark figure of the cost?
Thanks

The stock looks a little too "Terminator" for me, I'm more a utilitarian, but the upper is VERY cool.

What Tracer said....enquiring minds want to know.

tracer,

Here's a cost breakdown for the upper:

Rock River upper receiver: about $110
Gov't profile barrel with FST: $175
JP freefloat tube: $150
LMT rear sight: $120
Then I bought a more expensive b/c and bolt: JP SS bolt carrier $160, LMT enhanced bolt $155.
Vortex f/h: about $40

You could save quite a bit by using a cheaper rear sight and a normal bolt carrier assembly.

I think that's about it on the upper.

The lower is a pre-ban eagle arms with a Magpul M93A stock, Falcon grip, and JP trigger group.

Jack19,

Bartholomew Roberts has it right. The Magpul looks out of the ordinary, but it's all business. Rich has designed this stock to be functionally superior to all other AR stocks. It's rock solid, fully adjustably, and modular.

Thank You.I would like a similar rendition, but will need to compromise in several areas.
It DOES look sharp!

atherd,

I don't have a scale which can weigh this accurately. It seems like it weighs less than a 16" Hbar Rock River, but that's subjective.

Try CMMG Inc for the barrel you're looking for.

Nice setup! It's got a nice Space Gun look without getting too wild and outlandish.

How does that A2 profile shoot with the free float? I was thinking about floating an A2 profile barrel, but considered that the weight of the thicker muzzle hanging on the thinner part under the HGs might encourage barrel whip.

Zak, actually, it's growing on me. Which means my M1A project is going to be delayed....again. :D

How heavy is the stock?

Jack19,

Right now I don't have a scale which can measure things in that range. My reloading scales go up to 500 grains, and I don't think the bathroom scale would work well!

It's heavier than a CAR telestock. It's probably comparable to an A2 stock (including the rifle-length buffer).

If you want a fixed stock, I highly recommend the Cavalry Arms C1 buttstock. It's A1 length but much stronger than the old A1 stocks.
