AR15 A2 scope

Is it practical to put a scope on an A2 carry handle or will it be to high ,
I have considered a flat top reicever but l do like the A2 aswell

Can't really get a cheek weld, but totally doable. I had my AR-10A2 carbine set up that way, worked fine for hogs

It certainly can be done effectively, but it's not comfortable. I used one for several years in competition, still have a Hakko 4x mounted on the carry handle of my back up rifle.

There are attachments that can be added to an A2 stock to make a better fit. Most of the cheek risers I tried for collapsable stocks aren't very well engineered, in my opinion.

One of the risers that Dr.Rob mentioned. Not pretty, but functional.

You know the right solution though. Two uppers.

Roger that, add a 2nd upper with optic and the upper can have a ff rail and match stainless barrel.
