My son-in-law has XL size hands and I was wondering if there are grips available to better accommodate XL size hands? As it stands now with regular size grips, his trigger finger extends way past the trigger. What say you? Thanks...

I have the same problem, the standard grip places my hand way too close to the trigger. That's why I like the Magpul MIAD grip.

The MOE is going to be a huge improvement over stock at less cost than the MIAD. I have a MIAD but I bought it years before the MOE stuff came out. Any new grips will be MOE.

Any grip that fills in the "web" or space behind the curve in the lower receiver will be an improvement. the stock grip's backstrap meets that surface and is flush with it. Many aftermarket grips have a "beavertail" looking thing that fills in that curve and helps a lot. I like ERGO personally, but the MIAD with the large insert would also be a good choice. There are lots of others. Look at Tango Down BG-17 as well.

Another vote for the ERGO grip.

I too have XL glove sized hands and the ERGO is much longer (looking from back to front) than the others and feels very natural. The Magpul and it's clones are fatter width wise but the same length which does not feel comfortable for me.
