I was originally going to get a gas piston upper, but the majority of the threads here and at arfcom kind of steered me away from it.I'm in the market for a flat top upper receiver with a 16" bbl with a railed gas block, and either selling or mothballing my A1 upper. I was wondering if anyone has ordered from www.ar15-kits.com, and if so, what kind of experience you guys had with them.

It seems kinda suspicious that they can supposedly sell FN/Colt kits for the same price as Del-Ton can sell their DPMS stuff. :scrutiny:

Where can I buy lower small parts kit other then DPMS? FN, Colt?

on this here internet!

Del-ton has LPK's
Stag has a LPK

then theres probibly a hundred "store brand" LPK out there.

Actually www.ar15-kits.com is not ar15kitscom just wanted to clarify that. Also in a test done by a SRT team in LA we are the only people they order from for PD needs. Many PD's order from us because of the quality and price.
To date, we have had only 1 barrel come back that was defective over the past 5 years so I guess we are doing something right. The parts come from the same manufacturers as colt and fn just without the high price tag. The BCG's come from same manufacturer as clt, the upper is made by same manufacturer as FN, the LPKs same manufacturer as BM. So basically the best of all parts combined into a rifle kit that is lower in price.

I'd go with J&T, good stuff, Built a couple AR's using their kits and they are higher quality than the DPMS, Olympic, and Bushmaster factory assembled rifles I've owned.:D

Crow1108.... What brand A1 upper is it? I have been considering selling/trading my Colt A2 upper for a good A1 upper.
