ar15 scope mount

I have a colt 6927 with removable rear sight handle.Will the nikon p-series 2 pce scope mount interfere with the colt front sight if installing without the removable colt rear sight handle?

It should not. I am doing something similar. Just as long as the scope mount is high enough.

You won't see the front sight through a magnified optic mounted at the appropriate height. Ditch the removable handle and get a scope mount for ARs. Not familiar with the scope mount you have so I can't comment on whether or not it will work for you.

An angle grinder, flap-disk, and cut-off disk. You can remove the milspec front sight until it can be replaced with a picatinny gas block. Cold blue the cuts. It may not matter if the scope has enough magnification- as above stated.
