the wife and i just put an evil black rifle(ar180b) on layaway. we're new to this type of rifle. we've shot ar15s/m16s before but never owned one. we're wondering what the best 20 or 30 round magazines are for this gun. just going to use it for targets and plinking but might need some serious mag capacity/ reliabilty in case al quaeda shows up here. thanks, craig and cin.

Just get some USGI 30 round mags, tjey are reasonably priced and are available everywhere.

I've found that the British government issue steel 30 round mags work very well in my AR180B. With any mag you may have to file down the feed lips a tiny bit to allow the bolt to cycle without hitting. Most don't hit but some do.
