I saw a thread on another forum recently about restoring old targets. Someone posted a "how to" video and i thought i'd give it a try. My cousin had an old beat up Glendel Buck target so i figured i would give it a shot. Here are some pics of the process. I think it came out pretty good.
What i used...about 10 bucks
Before
Then i wrapped it with duct tape. I wrapped the entire cavity all the way around to keep it tight.
I made a small hole in the tape and emptied the entire can of foam into the target. I moved the tube around in the cavity to get as much coverage as possible. When the can was empty, i covered the small hole with more tape. I let it sit for about 5 hours. Then i removed the tape and trimmed off the excess that came out of the tape.
Finished product.
I'm not sure how it will hold up...but for about 10 bucks it is worth a shot.
