Yes, die sets, powders, bullets, and load data are the same for both. .45 Auto Rim was designed for revolvers (think S&W 25) that shot .45 ACP with moon clips so that a shooter could dispense with moon clips and use rimmed cartridges instead.
It was designed for the surplus S&W & Colt 1917 revolvers after WWI.
It is also used in the later .45 ACP chambered S&W revolvers, 1950 Target, Model 25, Model 625, etc.
Realistically, pressure limits are the same in modern guns made in the last 70 years though.
Reloading data may not be due to slight differences in case capacity.
