Are Brownings Mk III HiPowers Worth The Money?

I would say, yes.
If some new plastic pistols are around 400/500$.
A good BHP for 600$ is fair as well a new 92fs for $550

When they were $500 NIB in the early to mid '90's I'd say go for it. But new at eight bills? I can't encourage you to do that.

LOL, a quick check of the (very under estimated) CPI shows that $500 in 1995 had the same purchasing power as $711.09 today. And, considering that in 2000 you could buy a Euro for $0.87 and today it cost $1.40, I would say an $800 BHP is a bargain.

I'm just glad I still have seven and don't need to add any new ones.

Make sure you check the price in the link!! LOL! If you have to ask, you can't afford it!

I have a High Power and it would be the ONE gun I would keep forever. It truly is my favorite handgun of all time. So I'm willing to spend the $800 bucks to replace it if needed. Is it worth it, yes. Are there better values, yes. And I have to admit when I carry an auto it is a Glock.
