Are Nitesiters glue on sights good?

Yes, I've already put paint on mine and they work great in the daytime. When I practice at night I am way slow to find the target.
When I switch on the laser, I get instant hits....good hits. If my laser goes down, I will be in big trouble in low light.
I need to light up the iron for backup.

I have no direct experience with the product. However, I would never put anything 'glue-on' only any firearm that I intended to use as a potential self-defense weapon.

I used them on my Sig P6, which came with fully black sights. I found I needed to add a drop of super glue to keep them in place.

They're crap. If you are serious about sights for night time or low light situations spend the extra money and get tritium night sights.

Yes, every defensive gun should have night sights. Yes, it's a bad idea to trust your life to stuff that's glued on, But at the same time, look at it this way. If you spend a few bucks, glue them on, and they fall off, you are left with.....the same thing you started with. Better than the Sigma I had that had the front sight pop out completely.
They're right. Eat some Ramen and get some Trijicons. I deviated from Trij's once to Meprolight and they are fading way too soon.

I second the GlowInc sight paint. In fact, I put some on the nitesiters, it glows much longer.

If my GlowInc painted sights are sitting out in my room before I go to bed, they are still visable hours later.
Since I use a flashlight, a couple seconds shine makes them really brite. Besides, I am more likely to rely on my CTC laser grips for dark aiming.
As far as the Nitesiters on the Sig P6, I was more interested in having contrast sights, as opposed to all black. They did fine for that.
Tritium sights are really not a "needed" accessory...Nice, but not needed. The old timers did some pretty good work without them, or without any sights. Bill Jordan was once asked how he managed to beat so many bad guys in gunfights. He replied that they had a tendency to try and aim before they shot. I doubt the modern pistolero with his tritium equiped wonder nine plastic special would have much luck against Jordan and his Model 19.

I would pick glowinc over nitesighters. And over tritium. Tritium is over rated. Mix some glow inc with some nail polish, paint the sights, and your done.
Anyone keep their gun out in the open during the day? Keep it concealed during the day with a shirt, or anything? Ever take it out during the whole day? If you do then glowinc would make sense. If not, I guess tritium for you since you keep the thing locked for more than 24 hour periods- that makes no sense to me.

Thank you for the recommendation. I to have been looking at various diff. night sights but didn't want to spend a ton of money to do all 4 pistols.
I looked at their web site and ordered a 1/2 oz. bottle to try out. I ordered the one listed as the brightest and longest lasting and it was just under $15.00 with shipping.
Even if I would need to reapply the product over time the small bottle should go a long way.

i bought a set, installed them on my lcp. they work IF the gun is out in the daylight at least to some extent. or if you hit them with a flashlight for a minute or so. but, when i clean my gun, the gunscrubber washes them off. if i was way more careful about it, it may not. but i get pretty enthusicatic about a clean gun, so the whole gun gets clean.
