This isn't quite what you asked, but I do carry a m57 tokarev made in the 50s. I would call it a old school gun.

Not strictly, but by preference, blued steel & wood, for me.
My favorites are pre-lock, pinned barrel S&W's (14, 17, two 15's, 28), with an occasional Classic (FN HP, Walther PP, SIG 210) thrown in.

I once carried my great uncle Ed's nickeled 1884 S&W .38 break-top for a few weeks, but I've moved into the 21st century now and carry a Rohrbaugh. I haven't sold my old wheel guns (or the newer ones from the '90s), but seldom carry them.

Come to think of it, I've never carried the H&R .32 long my aunt bought in Baltimore in the '70s when she was still a nurse at Hopkins. I don't even know if I have ammo for it anymore. Hmm. My grandfather's Iver Johnson's .32 isn't safe to shoot, but it's cute as a bug.

I have a handful of those old clunkers around here that I've accumulated from various family members. I get the ones nobody wants. I buy the nice guns if they're offered to me and the cheap ones come free. Distant relatives would even drop them off at my parents' house. I'm not complaining, but how many of these things does any one person need?

I probably don't fit the purest catagory as I carry some newer designs. But I do often carry older revolvers I have a nice Speed Six and a early '70s Detective Special that see signifigant carry time.

Had a 1970 Detective Special that got carried a good bit. Mostly carry a 642-2, and sometimes a 3" S&W 13-3 (all I carried yesterday). I used to carry a 1930 M&P, but not anymore. I also have a CZ75 that gets a fair amount of holster time, but I've gotten less and less enamored of chasing brass lately.

I don't leave the house without my '74 Mod. 36. When it comes to revolvers I prefer 1950's-80's. Somehow most revolvers I now have were made in the 70's. But in bottom feeders I like the newer models. I tend to get more attached to my "older" revolvers and it's very difficult for me to trade or sell them.
