Are you a rifle kinda guy, shotgun or handgun or all?

I loce handguns in pretty much any way shape or form and I occasionally shoot my old style shotgun, with some interest in an old trench shotgun, too ...

But in all honesty, I have no interest in rifles. for some reason even the most exciting rifle is less fun for me to shoot than the most boring handgun.

unfortunately for my wallet, I can't help myself when it comes to any type of firearm. Sure is fun though.

Definitely handgun. Growing up in S***cago then its 'burbs then finally here, there was a lack of rifle distance ranges back then. Starting to move into rifles & shotgun sports, however.

I'm a shotgun guy myself. IMHO, its the most versatile gun out there. Hunt ducks in the morning and shoot a deer in the afternoon with the same gun. I also live in the middle of shotgun only counties, so no rifles for me unless I travel north.

I'm primarily a pistolero. It's not that I don't like rifles and shotguns, but I don't hunt and there are more handgun ranges nearby than rifle and trap ranges. I do have a couple of ARs and a bolt action .22lr though, as I believe in being well-rounded.

Based on number of rounds expended in each I am definitely a handgun kinda guy, by a long shot. Rifle shooting is picking up but still not too close.

It seems to change with the tide. For the longest time I was a shotgun guy. Then after a while I was buying nothing but pistols and now I'm back to rifles. Between pistols and rifles I went to archery. I plan on a new deer rifle then it will probably be back to fly fishing.

I would have to say Rifle guy here. It seems they are more accurate, or easier to hit stuff with than a pistol or shotgun. I can't shoot trap or skeet for nothing! However, I recently shot some 16GA slugs and enjoyed that.

I would have to say that I'm a whatever-I-feel-like sorta guy.
I currently own dozens of rifles, more pistols, but zero shotguns.
I have only owned 2 shotguns in the past 45 years of gun ownership (not counting flintlock muskets and fowling pieces).

I own many of all three types of weapons. I have been shooting rifles and shotguns since I was old enough to walk since I was brought up hunting. Started aquiring handguns a few years ago. If I had to sell two types I would keep the rifles. A finely tuned rifle is something I cherish.

I hear ya about NY - lived there for five years, then moved back out west. The first thing I did was run out and buy some more guns. Firing those first few rounds after a five year hiatus was about like having your first ice cold beer after spending years stranded on a desert island. Ah, refreshing!

I'm not into handguns - couple of rifles, one shotgun, and one pistol. The pistol's been my self-protection piece over all the years I've backpacked and wandered around in the wilderness hunting. I like shooting pistols, but since the handgun's my protection gun I've always felt it was smart to just own the one and know it well enough to use it when the adrenaline is pumping.

I've never been much of a range shooter though, so I would probably own more if I did a lot of recreational shooting as opposed to hunting.

I have changed throughout the years but holding my beretta 20 303 on sept first makes my knees weak. I have several different rifles, several different shotguns and only a few handguns. I like the golf club statement, I will use that one on the wife the next time I NEED another gun

my favorite is handguns, then rifles, dont own a shotgun & really dont want one.

I'm definitely a handgun guy! I've only owned one rifle which was a RRA Entry Tactical but I gave it to my cousin for his 20th birthday 2 months ago and I just purchased myself an AK Draco pistol to replace it (yeah, I know... it's "technically" a pistol)... but it fills the void. haha

I'm a pretty good amateur handgun guy.
I'm a danged good amateur shotgun guy.

When I get the money to buy a rifle, I'm gonna head on over to an Appleseed event and start becoming a rifle guy.

EDIT:

I wish I had cousins like Enachos! Jeez! :D

I'm definitely a handgunner first and foremost.
I was raised shooting shotguns and rifles, mostly because my father wasn't really in to handguns very much.
And I carried a rifle for six years in the Army.
But the pistol and the revolver is where my heart remains.

I guess I never really got the rifle or shotgun bug because I don't hunt.
Hunting just doesn't interest me in the least.

I do have a couple of shotguns, but the vast majority of my collection are handguns: three revolvers (all Rugers), and three semi-auto.
